Manuscript and artwork processing

Typeset Ready reads, inspects and formats supported manuscript files and cover artwork in your web browser. Manuscript text and uploaded cover images are not sent to a Typeset Ready formatting server. Closing or refreshing the workspace clears the active files from the application unless your browser itself retains page data.

Information collected

Typeset Ready collects limited first-party analytics to understand whether the website and publishing workflow are useful. Analytics records contain a random anonymous visitor identifier, page path, broad traffic source, two-letter country code, device category, event type and time. Typeset Ready does not store IP addresses or complete user-agent strings in its analytics database. Analytics events do not include manuscript titles, author names, manuscript text, filenames, artwork, email addresses or payment-card details.

Payments and licenses

Payments are processed by Stripe, which may collect billing information under its own privacy policy. Typeset Ready receives the transaction and license information required to fulfill the purchase, provide support and prevent abuse, but does not receive or store complete payment-card numbers. Complimentary creator licenses may store a creator or channel name, optional email, status, expiration, device count, referral identifier, commission rate, payout method and payout destination. License codes and device activation tokens are stored as cryptographic hashes.

Browser storage

The website uses browser storage for a random anonymous visitor identifier, license status, referral attribution and product preferences. The analytics identifier is generated by the browser and is not derived from a name, email address, hardware serial number or manuscript. Typeset Ready honors supported Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals by disabling analytics collection. Affiliate referral attribution is retained for up to 30 days. Browser storage can be removed through your browser settings, but doing so may reset the anonymous identifier, remove referral attribution or require you to restore or reactivate your license.

Retention and choices

Support and transaction records may be retained as reasonably necessary for customer service, accounting, fraud prevention and legal compliance. Privacy requests may be sent to support@typesetready.com.
