Terms for using Typeset Ready.

The product

Typeset Ready is browser-based software for formatting supported text manuscripts into paperback interior PDFs, arranging customer-supplied artwork and text into matching paperback full-cover PDFs, and generating reflowable EPUB 3 ebooks. It is not Amazon, is not affiliated with Amazon or Kindle Direct Publishing, and does not guarantee that any file will be accepted, printed or published by a third party.

Lifetime license

A completed one-time purchase grants the purchaser a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the purchased version of Typeset Ready for the purchaser’s own manuscripts and client manuscripts the purchaser is authorized to format. “Lifetime” refers to the commercially supported life of the product, not the purchaser’s lifetime and not a promise that every future feature will be included.

• One purchaser may format unlimited supported manuscripts.
• The license may not be resold, shared publicly or used to offer access to the software as a competing service.
• Reasonable device or browser activation limits may apply.
• Access may be suspended for fraud, chargebacks or deliberate license abuse.

Complimentary creator licenses

Typeset Ready may issue a non-transferable complimentary license for evaluation, demonstration or promotional collaboration. Complimentary access may have a device limit or expiration and may be disabled if the code is published, transferred, abused or no longer needed. A complimentary license does not require the creator to publish a review or guarantee positive coverage unless a separate written agreement says otherwise.

Your responsibilities

You are responsible for the manuscript and artwork, their copyright and permissions, factual and editorial accuracy, final PDF and EPUB inspection, KDP settings and the physical proof. Keep backups and review every exported edition before publication.

• Do not upload content you are not authorized to use.
• Confirm trim, paper, page count and bleed choices in KDP.
• Use KDP Print Previewer, Kindle Previewer and a physical proof.

Supported content and limitations

The interior formatter is designed for text-focused, no-bleed paperbacks and reflowable ebooks. DOCX images, tables, footnotes, columns, text boxes and complex layouts are not preserved. The full-cover builder supports paperback covers using customer-supplied JPG or PNG artwork, and the EPUB builder can embed a customer-supplied JPG or PNG ebook cover; the software does not generate artwork, create fixed-layout ebooks, create hardcover templates or guarantee color reproduction. Browser, operating-system and KDP changes may affect compatibility.

Warranty and liability

The product is provided on an as-available basis. To the extent permitted by law, Typeset Ready disclaims implied warranties and is not responsible for lost manuscripts, printing expenses, publishing delays, rejected uploads, lost profits or indirect damages. Where liability cannot be excluded, total liability is limited to the amount paid for the license.

Changes

These terms may be updated when the product, payment system or law changes. Material changes will be identified by a revised effective date. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
